Custom Meal Plans

 

As an athlete, it is important that you have the right nutrition plan to optimize performance and recovery.  Some sports are highly anaerobic with short bursts of explosive energy, like football.  Others are more aerobic with long duration activity, like distance running.  Then there are sports that combine the two, like MMA, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Basketball and Soccer.  Or maybe you don’t play a sport, and just want to add lean muscle or lose some excess body fat. 

Every athlete has specific needs to perform their best based on the sport they play and the goals they have.  A customized athlete meal plan, designed specifically for you and you only, can help you achieve just that.

Athlete Meal Plan

The value of a customized diet program is that it is tailored exactly to your sport and your goals.  Every potential client receives a questionnaire from me that asks about your workout schedule, current eating habits, food preferences, and athletic goals you are looking to attain.  You’ll simply fill out this questionnaire as best you can and send it back to me.  At that point, I can fully customize a meal plan based on your tastes and lifestyle.  I have no team.  I’m not handing you off to a person you’ve never met.  You will be working one-on-one with me.

Month-by-Month Coaching Plans

  • A Fully Customized Athlete Meal Plan + Macros
    • After you fill out the questionnaire, I’ll have enough information to formulate a diet plan tailored to your lifestyle, goals, and food preferences.  You’ll have various meal options so you are not eating the same foods every day and to ensure you’re getting a variety of different vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients.  In addition you will receive calorie and macronutrient targets to hit each day if you’d like more freedom with the diet.  It is recommended that you measure your food and track your macronutrients daily out of habit even if you follow the meal plan perfectly.
  • Training Program Guidelines (If Requested)
    • I won’t give you a training program per se (i.e. exact sets and reps, exercises, etc) but I would like to give input on what I believe your routine should look like, including cardio.  Diet and training go hand-in-hand.  As long as you’re not following a set routine given by a coach or team, I would be happy to give an overview of what I feel would be the best approach to reaching your goals.  Even if you do have a set routine, the meal plan will be created in a way to complement it.   • Bi-Weekly Check-Ins and Monthly Formal Consultations
    • Every two weeks we will have a check-in via email to discuss how things are going and make any changes if needed.  I don’t like to change for the sake of changing, but I would like updates to make sure we are progressing in the right direction and also for the accountability factor.  Every month that you continue the program will begin with a formal consultation via the medium of your choosing (skype, phone, email).
  • Full Access via Email
    • This is the most valuable part of the program.  In addition to the formal consultations, you will have full access to ask questions via Email.  I want you to learn.  I want you to ask questions.  I want you to be sure everything is going smoothly.  I’ve been in your shoes, I’ve participated in Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Track and Field, Obstacle Races, Team Sports and so on.  I’m constantly researching nutrition strategies and have multiple exercise nutrition certifications.  I’m a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach as well.  I have the knowledge and I want to share it with you, so please don’t hesitate to ask anything if you’re unsure.  The people who succeed and who get the most out of this service are the ones who stay in touch.

There is no time commitment for coaching services.  It is month-to-month and you can cancel at any time.

Standalone Diet Plans

Whether it’s because of financial reasons, general uncertainty, or a level of nutrition expertise in their own right, some people don’t want coaching services.  I understand this and also offer what I call a standalone diet plan.  It is similar to the monthly coaching in that you receive multiple sample diets and macronutrient targets, but there is no consultation along with it.
